Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team at Erubi Engineering. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems at our clients businesses. Your responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  2. Troubleshooting electrical issues and performing diagnostics to identify and resolve problems.
    Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  3. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations in all electrical work.
  4. Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  5. Documenting work performed, materials used, and maintaining accurate records.
  6. Assisting in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or degree holder or equivalent. Completion of a technical or vocational program related to electrical systems is preferred.
  2. EPRA license holder is an advantage.
  3. Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
  4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.
  5. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  8. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and work at heights.
